In simple terms a Section-8 company is a non government organization(NGO) registered under the Companies Act, 2013 for promotion of any public cause like education, art, research, social welfare, religion etc. These types of companies enjoy different exemptions and concessions under Companies Act, 2013 and Income Tax Act, 1961 but on other hand any profits generated by these companies are required to be utilized for furtherance of its objectives i.e. social welfare. Also, these companies cannot distribute dividend to its shareholders.
Following documents are required for incorporation of LLP:
- Passport size photographs of all the directors and shareholders
- Email ID and Contact Number of all the directors and shareholders
- PAN Card of all all the directors and shareholders
- Voter ID/ Passport/ Driving License of all the directors and shareholders
- Copy of utility bill along with NOC/ rent agreement/ sale deed/ lease deed for registered office address.
